Co-writers and original founding members Michael Carney and Adam Dragland began a musical journey over a decade ago in Saratoga Springs, New York. The collaborative result, Seven Stories Falling, landed an eclectic range of opening slots with Dashboard Confessional, Ludacris, Blue Oyster Cult and other established artists along the East coast.
After relocating to the Bay Area in 2006, Adam and Michael spent several years searching for the right musical recipe, performing throughout the Bay Area under the name Team Candy. With the addition of veteran Seattle rock drummer John Hollis (Gerald Collier, Ian Moore, Burning Opera) in 2014, and renown singer/instrumentalist Jesse Ray Smith (The Bad Jones, The Pheroemones) in 2015, Gold Minor at last took shape.
